Who we are
Akbar Karimi – Founder of NEXAKI
Originally from Iran, I have been living in Austria since 2013. After learning German, I completed a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Energy Technology) at TU Graz, as well as a second Master’s degree in Management with a focus on SMEs.
My professional experience ranges from working as an electrician, electrical engineer, and HVAC technician in Iran to participating in international projects in Austria. Here, I have held various roles – including Automation Engineer in R&D, Project Manager for Digital Services, Project Lead for special-purpose machinery in large-scale production lines (plant engineering), Senior Consultant for safety-critical infrastructures, and Product Owner for technical solutions.
A particularly defining aspect of my career has been serving as a central liaison in international collaborations, often with large corporations and technology leaders. This experience has taught me to combine technical complexity with clear communication and sound decision-making.
